Presides over all meetings of the Academy and Regents.
Coordinates activities of all Academy Committees.

President-Elect 

2008 - 2010

Susan Bryant

President-Elect
Serves for two years.
Automatically becomes President at end of term.
Assumes responsibilities of President if President is unable to perform their duties.
Ex-officio member of the Examination Committee.

Past-President

Serves for two years.
Serves as acting President if President and President-Elect are unable to perform duties.
Is Academy liaison to Veterinary Technician Anesthetist Society executive board.

Treasurer 

2008 - 2010

Sharon Kaiser-Klingler

Serves for two years.
Maintains financial records of the Academy, prepares for audit when requested.
Prepares and presents annual operating budget to the Regents at annual meeting.
Collect Academy dues and pay Academy expenses as directed by Regents.
Maintain file of all vouchers and invoices for five years.
Deposit all funds in the name of the Academy in a federally insured bank approved by Regents.
Turn over all funds, properties and records to their successor.
Present report on financial status of the Academy at each annual meeting.
Carry out other duties as determined by the Regents.

Executive Secretary

2007 -

Missy Stillinger

Executive Secretary
Maintain general records of the Academy and files all required reports pertaining to it.
Attend all meetings of the Academy and Regents and Credentials Committee unless specified otherwise.
Record and keep all original notes, minutes and records of all official Academy meetings and sessions
for five years or until the Regents approve their disposal.
Maintain archival copies of all publications, documents, and other records of the Academy.
Coordinated correspondence and proposals regarding training programs
and process applications for certification examination.
Handle all correspondence on behalf of the Academy.
Present a report of the activities of the office at the annual meeting of the Regents and other times as designated.

Member-at-Large

2-year - 2010

Sharon Fornes

Member-at-Large
Serves for six years.
Serves as liaison to the ACVA in years 5 and 6.
Assist with Academy business.
